The entertainment industry is growing by leaps and bounds, and technology plays a very crucial role in its success. The Singapore based client wished to put his best foot forward in the ever-competing art & culture industry. After handling the band allocation process manually, they realized potential complications that might lead to significant misfortunes while handling and managing the music events. Therefore, they decided to create an online platform that assists well in organizing great musical events, performances globally.

The Client
Organizing bands and connecting to a wide array of audiences is undoubtedly not an easy task. Keeping the core need in mind, the client wished to create a marketplace named ImTunedIn built by the musicians for the musicians.
Core requirements were:
- An automated band management process- events and activities
- Difficulty in finding the availability of the band members for any activity
- Lack of communication with the band members rolled-out opportunities
- A collaborative approach to manage band activities was missing
- A notification system, to receive and send relevant messages, was required to alert members about the scheduled upcoming event
Approach
We decided to create a portal that connects musicians, music-related businesses, companies conducting both private and wedding events, and the list goes on! Basically, we aimed to develop an app that eliminated the irregularity in the communication and discussion among the artists. Minimize the manual process to save time and bring more transparency.
The Solution
Eliminating all the complications in handling and managing the events, finding the availability of the band members, intercommunication, and all those tasks which are difficult to manage manually is the main objective of creating ImTunedIn. The platform not only streamlined the entire workflow but also discovered new pathways, associated creativity, and talents together and personally connected with the fan base.
Key features were:
- Integrated BandCal facility to track, control and manage different activities of all band groups on a single screen
- BandHelp facility to find a time slot within specific day and time when all band members are available
- Produced a clear and user-friendly platform to manage band activities
- BandCal mobile app (Android and iOS) included features like BandCal, BandHelp and Band Chat that improved the process by ensuring website accessibility anytime and anywhere
